Discoveries: Wedding and Prenup Venue: Cintai at Corito's Garden

Cintai (pronounced as Chin-tai) is roughly 2-hour drive from Manila, and 1.5 hour drive from Imus Cavite.  We visited the place last 21 December 2011 to celebrate our 2nd year wedding anniversary.  Jared and Jaden were with us, along with my brothers Jun and Marc, and Lee (Marc’s girlfriend), and Ruby.

Because we have not heard of Balete town in Batangas (and we are Tagalogs!) we were expecting it to be too far from town, but no, it was a few meters away from SM Lipa.  When we get inside the place, we were awed by how different it is from the outside.  There were lots of trees and superb lawn and landscaping.

Jared instantly noticed the swimming pool – it was enticing, really!  We wanted to jump right there when we saw it!  They actually have 4 swimming pools, we stayed longer in the kiddie pool so that Jared can really enjoy.

The whole place makes you feel you deserve to relax and rest!  The trees, landscaped areas, and hand carving works of art are all feast to the eyes.  Just being inside the resort eases my stress!

When we got to our Villa, we love how big the bathroom was and the room itself.  The interiors are all well-thought about – all towards the resort’s theme, which is Balinese.  There is also a veranda which is a nice place to chat, eat, and drink.  To think, it was the smallest villa.  I can only imagine how beautiful the garden and executive villas!  I heard the executive villa has its own pocket garden and outdoor Jacuzzi, wow! I hope to experience that next time we visit the resort!

Well it’s not only a place for extreme relaxation, they also have pavilions for events!  I especially love Pavilion Tresna – the gate to the pavilion is a statement in itself!  If you want to have a Balinese-themed wedding or prenuptial pictorial and you don’t want to spend much to go to Indonesia then this is the place for you.  The gate alone will bring you to Bali!

There is also Pavilion Abadi and other pavilions which are being constructed as of this date.

There are more Balinese statues and walls – all hand-carved, your photographers will enjoy shooting you amongst these works of art.

The boys also enjoyed the free roaming animals – we saw chickens, geese, and a peacock.
And by the way, we had the whole resort to ourselves!

The only thing I am not a fan of at Cintai is how far the parking lot is from the villas.  I felt this probably because we did not stay long.  If we stayed long enough, I'd probably won't notice it anyway.

Overall, staying at Cintai was a valuable break from our busy December!  For more information about staying at Cintai or having your next event in their place, please visit their website at www.coritosgarden.com.

Cheers to the W@W Top 10!

Back in 2008 and 2009, I had the privilege of voting for and congratulating the Top W@W Supplier, RF and CA, respectively.  This year, I was astounded to see my youngest baby, Once A Bride Weddings,  in the Top 10, amongst the "big guns" in the wedding industry. A surefire milestone for me!

We got married in December 21, 2009.  January 2010, I bid goodbye to w@w and launched OAB.  We had our first wedding last March 20th.  And yesterday, 5 months after our "first," we made it to W@W's Top 10 for 2010!

Truly, nakakataba ng puso.  Ok na ako sa hug and thank you after each wedding.  Voting for us in the Top 10 is a huge icing on a JSG cake!  Sulit na sulit ang pagod at puyat sa weddings.  To my w@w couples, maraming maraming salamat sa tiwala at suporta. It didn't matter that we are a rookie.  We started with a simple desire to help out the grooms and the brides on their wedding, and now that desire has become a constant source of bliss for me.  I owe it to you all!  Mwah!

I am also grateful to the Rana's, Sir Abet and Ms Benz for weddings at work.  Napakaraming natutulungan talaga!

Making it to the Top 10 will not be possible without the Once A Bride team.  I'd like to thank my team for giving their best effort in each and every wedding, and for helping me ensure that the Bride and Groom are happiest on that day!

Sa lahat ng bumati, maraming maraming salamat!

Hala, prang speech na sa star awards ito!

So, Congratulations to Jayson and Joanne, Bim and Gen, Elmer, Dylan, Ms. Jet, DLS, K by C, Chug, and Darlene!  It is an honor to be put side by side with you all.

Cheers to the 2010 Top 10!  See you on Nov 26th... and oh we have a wedding pala on that day!  Buti na lang 7pm pa party, hahabol ako, can't miss this one!  Huwow!
